How to Install Nayax VPOS Touch at Your Self-Service Car Wash: 10 Simple Steps

What you receive from Nayax:
A VPOS Touch card reader, a pulse cable, an outdoor case.
What you will need:
Drill, electrical meter, metal drill bits, wire stripping pliers, screw driver, cable ties, wire connectors.
Step 1
Begin mounting your Nayax VPOS Touch by determining the placement of your device on your car wash equipment. Use the included drilling template to help identify the best position and then mark out each hole.
Step 2
Drill out each one of the holes you marked and continue to utilize the drill template to double-check your work and keep your markings level.
Step 3
Feed the pulse cable and your antenna cable through the largest hole you drilled and plug them into the VPOS Touch.
Step 4
Securely mount your device using the 4 mounting screws.
Step 5
The antenna is magnetic and can be placed anywhere inside the box. Using an electrical meter, locate your 24 Volt power source. After locating the electrical source, power down your equipment.
Step 6
In order to connect your VPOS Touch to your car wash timer, locate where pulse signals are received. On this installation, there is a terminal labeled “CC” for credit card on the car wash timer. The green “Pulse 1” wire from the pulse cable will be wired directly to this input.
Step 7
Prepare the yellow pulse cable by separating the two red wires, the two black wires, and the single darker green wire labeled “Pulse 1.” Secure all the remaining wires away from the installation using cable ties.
Step 8
Strip the colored sheathing off each of the wires. The two red wires will be twisted together and placed under the Positive terminal. The black wires will be twisted together and placed under the Negative terminal. Finally, the green “Pulse 1” wire will be connected to the credit card input.
Step 9
Strip the colored sheathing off the pulse wire and crimp a terminal connector to this wire. Place the wire under the terminal identified for credit card input, and tighten screw.
Step 10
Once all your connections have been made, restore the power. At this point, your device will cycle on and be ready to accept cashless payments and zoom your business into the future!
