Nayax is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to lead and maintain an effective compliance program for its European Electronic Money Institution (EMI) operations.

This role is responsible for ensuring that business activities comply with relevant EU and local laws and regulations, including PSD2, AML/CTF and electronic money regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in European regulatory frameworks, extensive experience working with financial regulators, particularly the Bank of Lithuania, and a solid background in fintech, payments, or financial services.

The position is hybrid- 4 days from the office and 1 day from home.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and internal policies, while keeping the compliance program up to date with regulatory changes and the launch of new products and services.
  • Develop, update, and maintain internal policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements, ensuring they remain effective and relevant.
  • Establish and maintain a risk-based approach to the compliance program, regularly assessing the adequacy of systems and controls to address emerging risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and compliance risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and risks, prepare a compliance action plan, and provide timely updates and compliance reports to the Company’s Management.
  • Oversee and manage ongoing internal reporting and regulatory reporting to the Bank of Lithuania, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and reporting to the relevant authorities.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the regulatory authorities, acquirers, financial partners, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance matters.
  • Regularly monitor compliance and report findings to the Nayax Group Corporate Compliance team and assist in enhancing and implementing remediation activities in line with global compliance standards.

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, business, finance).
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Compliance Manager, preferably within a fintech e-money institution, payment institution, acquirer, or bank.
  • Experience with EMI compliance and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle sensitive information.
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English.

  • Competitive monthly salary: €5,700 – €7,200 gross (based on experience and qualifications)
