Nayax is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join Nayax’s growing business unit: Nayax Energy, the first end-to-end EV (Electric Vehicle) charging solution. The developer will join the Modular EV Payments Solutions team and will be responsible for developing Nayax’s new Android device platform which is the core of the unique experience we’re building in the world of secure payments.

This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage company and significantly impact the company’s product and success.

The Senior Android Developer will be part of the Nayax Energy R&D team and report to Nayax Energy’s CTO.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

• Develop new products from scratch
• Design of architecture of new modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and Develop new features
• Implementation of Nayax EV payments business processes
• Maintain Nayax android platform and fix bugs, Identifying potential problems and writing tests
• Writing of system requirement specification

Requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

• 4+ years of experience in the development of services/apps on Android platforms
• Experience with Java
• Strong knowledge of Android Architecture components
• Experience with 3rd party libraries and APIs

ADVANTAGES:

• Experience with C/C++
• Knowledge of OCPP in the EV industry
• Knowledge of the payment industry
• Experience working on real-time operating systems or embedded systems
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures
