Description
Nayax Lithuania EMI is now looking for an experienced Data Analyst (m/f/d) to strengthen its team, full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Processing: Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and internal systems. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability through data validation and cleaning processes. Support AML and Finance departments in gathering and cleaning the data needed for company’s reporting purposes. Analyze company clients’ information and provide insights.
- Data Analysis: Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and insights. Utilize statistical methods to interpret data and provide recommendations.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to present findings in an understandable and actionable format. Use tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to build visual representations of data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other Nayax Europe UAB and Nayax Ltd. departments, such as, AML, Compliance, Finance, Product, Operations, IT and Marketing, to understand data needs and provide data-driven insights that support business initiatives.
- Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Identify patterns and trends in complex datasets. Develop models to predict future trends and outcomes.
- Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of data quality, ensuring that all data analysis processes are compliant with the regulatory requirements and company policies, as well as data protection regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities to improve data collection methods, analysis techniques, and reporting processes. Recommend process improvements based on insights gathered.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. Knowledge of statistical analysis software and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). Familiarity with Excel and other data management tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret and communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with Big Data Tools: Familiarity with data lakes, cloud storage, and big data technologies (e.g., AWS, Hadoop).
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Experience in payments industry.
- Full professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English languages (knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage)
