This role will be under Retail Pro is a leading global retail management software platform, empowering retailers worldwide with comprehensive point-of-sale and retail operations solutions. With a strong presence in APAC, we partner with major international brands to support their retail expansion and operational excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to drive Retail Pro’s growth in the Chinese market. Based in our Shanghai office, you will focus on establishing Retail Pro as the premier solutions architect and deployment partner for Chinese brand companies expanding internationally. This strategic role combines consultative selling, solution architecture, and long-term partnership development with enterprise retail clients.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with Chinese retail brands planning international expansion
  • Position Retail Pro as the strategic POS and retail management platform partner for global deployments
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting Chinese brands expanding outside of China
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships
  • Conduct high-level consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts and close enterprise-level deals with Chinese retail companies
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Solutions Architecture & Consulting

  • Assess client business requirements and design comprehensive retail technology solutions
  • Articulate the value proposition of Retail Pro’s platform for multi-country retail operations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to propose customized deployment strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on retail technology best practices for international expansion
  • Provide insights on market trends and competitive positioning

Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Ensure customer success throughout the sales cycle and implementation planning
  • Coordinate with APAC project teams to ensure smooth handoff and deployment
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Promote Nayax products where applicable and complementary to client needs

Market Development

  • Monitor Chinese retail market trends and expansion patterns
  • Represent Retail Pro at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Develop partnerships with retail consultants, system integrators, and industry associations
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and thought leadership content
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to leadership

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience in retail technology, POS systems, or enterprise software
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with international enterprises
  • Experience working with retail brands expanding globally
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Strong consultative sales skills with experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of retail operations, POS systems, and international expansion challenges
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Skilled at translating technical solutions into clear business value propositions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, with cross-cultural fluency for international business
  • Proficient with CRM systems, sales pipeline tools, and enterprise retail technology platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing; advanced qualifications (MBA, certifications) preferred
