We are currently looking for QA Test Automation Engineer – Temporary Position (Maternity leave replacement) ,which is responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of Nayax’s global payment processing systems.

You’ll work in a dynamic backend environment, collaborate with developers and analysts, and use your automation and analytical skills to help deliver high-quality, reliable financial services at scale.

The QA Automation Engineer will report directly to the Backend QA Team Leader.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Plan, design, and execute functional, regression, and integration tests for backend services and APIs
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests in C#, ensuring high coverage and reliability of mission-critical systems
• Review and analyze feature designs and specifications to define appropriate test strategies
• Conduct test plan and test case reviews with QA and R&D peers
• Work closely with developers, analysts, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure smooth releases and continuous quality improvement
• Perform manual verification when needed to validate complex backend workflows or new feature implementations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, including backend testing
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in test automation using C# (experience with NUnit/xUnit is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA processes
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST clients, or automated frameworks)
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation
• Ability to write clear test plans, report findings, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience with load or performance testing tools
• Experience working in CI/CD environments 
• Familiarity with financial transaction systems or client/server architectures
