Nayax is looking for a Compliance Operations Director to lead our operational function which is responsible for managing the customer onboarding process. The Compliance Operations Director will be responsible for implementing the regulatory requirements outlined by the compliance department in multiple locations to allow the highest possible experience for our customers while staying compliant with different compliance regimes. The Compliance Operations Director will design, manage, and monitor customer onboarding operations procedures while leading a team of coordinators conducting due diligence on various regulatory standards, including Anti Money Laundering, FinCrime Sanctions, etc. 

The Compliance Operations Director will Report to the Chief Business Operation.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

  • Manage a team of compliance coordinators who are responsible for Nayax’s compliance activities both globally and locally.
  • Managing the implementation of the company’s compliance policies.
  • Overseeing operational processes and procedures related to AML, Sanctions, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Developing and improving operational compliance systems.
  • Supporting the compliance officers in each region and in HQ.
  • Holding responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance procedures and processes in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • At least 5 years of regulatory/ compliance experience, including experience working in regulated financial services entities from a global company
  • A solid management background
  • Experience with building and maintaining operational compliance projects.
  • Experience working with: AML laws and regulations, sanctions regimes, and financial licenses.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory landscape
  • Excellent judgment
  • Skilled at leading through influence and collaborating with partners to drive better outcomes.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills combined with innovative thinking.
  • Open communicator – excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English
