Finance Team Lead

The Finance Team Lead will report to the Controller.


  • Assist the controller in maintaining and overseeing all aspects of the Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Customer Service elements of Finance Operations.
  • Review and interpret all invoices, payment requests, and credit memos for accuracy and compliance with the accounting practices and policies of Nayax.
  • To answer any questions the client has in terms of their accounting.
  • Acting as the liaison between the Finance Team and the departments in troubleshooting operational payables questions, responding to concerns, and solving problems.
  • Assist the controller in overseeing the Finance Team and evaluating their performance. This includes reviewing communications with customers, the rate of task completion, the overall impact on the team, and other performance metrics and providing feedback for continuous learning and improvement.
  • To serve as a customer-facing role in terms of delivering accounting reports to the customer which include customer open balances, sales reports, and rebate statements.
  • Improve existing processes and work toward automation. Our goal is to move towards product-led accounting. Using your rapidly acquired deep knowledge of our product and the applications we use, call out opportunities for us to improve! We look for clear problem statements, identification of workarounds, and potential solutions.
  • Support the continued learning of Finance team members. Identify individual and departmental gaps to create and provide training as necessary.

  • Solid Excel skills including look-up and pivot table ability
  • Customer service skills
  • An eye for detail
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • The ability to prioritize projects
  • Excellent accounting data entry skills
  • Salesforce and SAP Business knowledge a plus


  • Associates Degree in Bookkeeping or Accounting Preferred
  • Prior experience with Salesforce
  • Prior experience with SAP Business One
