Description

Nayax is looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic Finance team. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily accounting operations, collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial processes and accurate reconciliations.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Enter vendor payments, process invoices, and manage credit card receipts
  • Track balances and ensure proper reconciliation of all financial records
  • Perform bank reconciliation and manage intercompany reconciliations
  • Work closely with banks, handling daily transactions and ensuring compliance
  • Communicate and collaborate with local accounting firms on Income Tax and VAT issues
  • Serve as a point of contact for credit card companies to resolve payment-related issues and tracking reconciliation process
  • Coordinate with the HQ team in Israel on billing processes and commission cost journal entries
  • Assist in addressing questions or concerns from internal stakeholders within the company about payments or agreements, maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers, ensuring high levels of service and responsiveness
  • Play a key role in the periodic closing process, including account reconciliations, accounts payable, expense accruals, prepaid schedules, intercompany transactions, and amortizations
  • Maintaining proper documentation and filing systems to ensure easy access to financial records and support audit requirements and BoL reports 

Requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

  • More than 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper in a similar role, ideally in the fintech industry
  • Certified bookkeeper, or university education
  • Proven expertise in reconciliation processes and working with fintech companies
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems, SBO or NS as an advantage
  • Experience in working with multiple currencies fields
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • A good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience working with local accounting firms on tax and VAT matters
  • A strong team player attitude, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
