We are looking for an Accountant to join the finance team at Nayax Lithuania EMI.

As an accountant, you will perform a wide range of accounting tasks, from calculation and booking to control procedures, within a global and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Banking and reconciliation tasks:

• Perform regular bank uploads and reconciliations, including automatic and manual matching of transactions, investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reconciliation files supporting the accuracy of month‑end balances.
• Support vendor, intercompany, and other monetary transfers.

Month-End Closure procedures:

• Prepare calculations such as cash segregation and revenue‑related and other accruals; book journal entries, including the accruals, provisions, reclassifications, amortizations, and other GL adjustments.
• Intercompany Accounting: make calculations and book intercompany transactions; collaborate with other Nayax teams to ensure correct allocation and reporting of intercompany balances.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, support process improvements and internal controls.

Accounts Payable

• Ensure that all supplier invoices are accurately recorded, properly approved, and paid on time.
• Conduct periodic AP ageing reviews, resolve vendor queries.
• Prepare VAT-related reports and reconcile tax balances.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for Bank of Lithuania financial, statistical reports and support billing controls.
• Support finance controller with various analysis and calculations, handle ad-hoc accounting tasks, support audits, and assist with non-routine finance activities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive monthly salary: €2,500 – 3,300 gross (based on experience and qualifications)

Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
• 2–3 years’ experience in accounting.
• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or a similar subject.
• Experience with NetSuite and SAP ERP systems – advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
• Proactivity, reliability and ambition, as well as a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• Full professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
